Gesture Volume
These terms apply to your use of Gesture Volume ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app. These terms replace the version dated 2 June 2026.
1. What the app is
Gesture Volume adds a small bar to the edge of your screen. Swiping or tapping it controls volume and brightness and runs actions you choose, and it can open panels such as the Deck, the Quick slider and a long-press menu. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or are allowed to configure.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on your Android devices, under these terms and Google Play's Terms of Service.
The source code is published at https://github.com/imamhossain94/GestureVolume. Your rights to that code are set by the licence file in that repository, if one is present; where none is, all rights are reserved and viewing the code does not grant permission to copy, modify or redistribute it. The app's name, icon and store listing may not be reused to publish a copy.
3. Permissions and the accessibility service
Some features need permissions such as Display over other apps, Modify system settings, Do Not Disturb access, contacts, phone or the optional accessibility service. The app asks only when you choose a feature that needs one, and explains what it is for. What each permission is used for is set out in the Privacy Policy.
You decide which permissions to grant and can withdraw them at any time in Android's settings. If you withdraw one, the features that depend on it stop working; the rest of the app continues.
4. Gesture Volume Pro
- Pro is a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play. It removes ads and unlocks Pro features for the Google account that bought it. It is not a subscription.
- Payment is handled entirely by Google Play under Google's terms. We never see your payment details.
- Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Google may refund purchases on request within its refund window; after that, contact us and we will consider the request.
- Restoring. Pro is tied to your Google account. Use Restore on the Upgrade screen after reinstalling or on a new device signed in to the same account.
- Changes to Pro. We may add, change or remove Pro features over time. An existing Pro purchase will always keep the app free of ads.
5. Advertising
The free version shows ads, supplied by AppLovin and its partner networks. Ads appear only inside the app's own screens. Ad content is supplied by third parties; we do not endorse the products or services advertised and are not responsible for them or for any dealings you have with advertisers. How ad networks use data, and how to change your ad consent through Privacy choices in the app, is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app to break the law or to harm, harass or track anyone;
- use the accessibility service or any other feature to capture another person's information without their permission;
- tamper with, bypass or disable the app's ads, purchase checks or licence verification;
- redistribute modified copies of the app, or publish the app under another name;
- use the app in a way that interferes with emergency calls or other safety functions of your device.
7. Third-party services and content
The app can open or rely on services run by others — for example Google Play services, Google search, YouTube, Maps, Wikipedia, DuckDuckGo, Amazon, WhatsApp, Telegram and the ad networks. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Search results and any other third-party information are provided for convenience and may be inaccurate or unavailable.

8. Your device and your data
The app changes device settings when you ask it to — volume, brightness, Do Not Disturb, rotation, the flashlight and similar. You are responsible for how you configure it.
Notes, checklist items and settings are stored only on your device. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app deletes them, and we cannot recover them. Keep your own copy of anything important.
Some device makers stop background apps to save battery. The app offers guidance, but we cannot guarantee that the bar stays active on every device.
9. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device, Android version or manufacturer's software.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NewAgeDevs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, use or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.
11. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms. Sections 2, 7, 9, 10 and 13 continue to apply after termination.
12. Changes
We may update these terms when the app changes. The "Last updated" date above will change, and significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it.
